Mayor Richard Daley announced Wednesday he would introduce an ordinance to guarantee jail time for anyone convicted of carrying an unregistered weapon within 1,000 feet of a school, park, courthouse or public housing development.
In Chicago. Where 'unregistered gun possession" is already a felony crime. Dumb*ss.

ReplyDeleteCity ordinances cannot be felonies. The guy charged with 270 counts of unregistered firearms had all but 3 dropped, paid $50 and got his guns back.

ReplyDeleteWe should focus our attention on gun laws in the United States of America, who cares what happens in Chicago.
Maybe because some of us live there. Also, if you win there, you win everywhere.
